SAFARI HOLIDAY PACKAGE

Uganda teems with life. Home of the endangered Mountain Gorillas, the BigFive, highest concentration of Chimpanzee and far more, nowhere else for better Game view in a natural setting.

In Swahili, the word 'safari' means "to go on a journey" mostly a longer journey that will keep you at least a day a way from home. An African safari offers real adventure; the chance to travel deep into true wilderness and stray off the tourist trail. Travel by road, bumping along dusky tracks, taking in the vast, rolling landscapes and spotting wildlife along the way; or take on to the skies for spectacular aerial views, flying in to tinny National Park airstrips where lions roam the runway.
No matter how many wildlife documentaries you've watched/seen, nothing can prepare you for the real thing.

Safari holidays are increasingly becoming popular holiday activity. They involve the primary goal of watching wild animals in their natural habitats. In Uganda, a safari holiday range from; Wildlife safaris, Chimpanzee Trekking safaris, Gorilla Trekking safaris, Cultural safaris, Bird watching safaris and or when you combine one or two i.e. "Wildlife and Gorilla Trekking Safari Holiday" and commonly, they take 3-Days or more but not more than a month to most tour operators.

A PERFECT SAFARI HOLIDAY
It's not about money, to have a perfect safari holiday in Uganda. It's about your decision to where and when you want to have the holiday:  The earlier you decide, the better as it will make you prepare earlier for the holiday. It will make you get into connections with your safari operator, come into agreement over the safari quote, know dates when the safari will begin and what type of safari it will be.
Time should be a prime factor during the safari arrangements..... Welcome!

5 REASONS TO INCLUDE UGANDA ON YOUR 2017 DESTINATIONS!

A hundred years since Winston Churchill dubbed Uganda the "Pearl of Africa," in his 1908 book "My African Journey," here are some of the 5reasons why you have got to include Uganda on your 2017 places-to-visit list in quest to find out why it is called so.
A British colony until it's independence in 1962, Uganda encompasses any African experience a traveler could ever dream of: Snow caped mountains, clear blue lakes, dense misty forests, bustling city and towns, cascading waterfalls, white water rivers like the mighty river Nile and highest concentration of earth's primates found in this country of hospitable and friendly people makes it travelers' paradise.

1. Hospitable and friendly people.
In most times Uganda as tourism destination comes on the world map of tourism due to its distinctive tourist’s attraction which range from the wildlife and the beautiful scenic beauty of the country. The pearl of Africa Uganda is generally gifted with various natural resources for tourism and some on these include the  variety of ecosystems, beautiful landscape, as well as the climates and these are responsible for many Uganda safari companies like Pongo safaris.  However little has been explored about the hospitable people of Uganda and their unique culture and yet it’s  where tourists can have full enjoyment of their safari experience.
From the time you arrive, you will be welcomed with gigantic smiles from these citizen you thought were strangers an act that live you to enjoy your safari with a mindset of home-away-from home. Therefore, any travel to Uganda should should be designed with spared time to visit and experience what Ugandan can offer as a reward to visiting their nation.

2. Jinja: Source of the Nile and East Africa's adventure capital.
Jinja town gives you a glimpse of a typical African town.Situated on the banks of lake Victoria at the source of the world's longest river, the Nile, Jinja is an adrenaline junkie's paradise with a tropical climate and surrounded by lush forests and sugar cane fields, there's a smorgasbord of activities to keep travelers busy with many adventurous safari activities like; Kayaking, Bungee jumping, White water rafting, Horse-back riding and many other activities awaiting your arrival to explore this East Africa's adventure capital.

3. Wild game views.
Uganda a home to "Big Five" a term that was coined by the big-game hunters to refer to the most African animals difficult to hunt down on foot and these include; African Lion. African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, African Leopard and the Rhinoceros. Is well distributed with well conserved and protected ten (10) national parks all over the country stocked with enough fauna and flora
that offer visitors with unique wildlife game  view experience not to be found elsewhere in Africa.

4. Endangered Mountain Gorilla.
It is said that there are approximately 786 Mountain gorillas remaining in the world and it is approximated that half of this population is found in Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga National Parks respectively.
You can visit either of the parks for a remarkable gorilla tracking experience that is organized in a group of 8 individuals to track a single gorilla family always headed by one silver back gorilla.
This activity pays off with a lot more other safari attractions depending on how your safari package is arranged.
